  • 150 gram pitted dates
  • 50 gram Butter

Recipe's preparation

    Chocolate LCM Bars
  1. Put Dates in Thermomix Bowl and process until a smooth paste forms, sp 8 for 1 minute. Add Butter and Cacao (can use cocoa powder) and melt mixture, 5 minutes, temp 70, sp 2. Add puffed rice to a bowl. Pour warm mixture over and combine thoroughly (I used my hands) until well combined and sticky. Transfer your mixture to a square slice tin, lined with baking paper. Press firmly until it is evenly distributed and tightly packed. Put in the fridge to firm up for a few hours. Slice and enjoy. Lunch box Friendly!

Tip

You could easily double this recipe. You could also substitute coconut oil for butter but my kids don't like the taste of coconut oil.
