Cinnamon Apple Cake

  • 50 grams walnuts
  • 2 eggs
  • 215 grams vegetable oil
  • 10 grams ground cinnamon
  • 60 grams white sugar
  • 160 grams brown sugar
  • 5 grams vanilla extract
  • 320 grams plain flour

  • 1/2 level tsp baking soda

      Please note that the TM5 mixing bowl has a larger capacity than the TM31 (capacity of 2.2 liters instead of 2.0 liters for TM 31). Recipes for the Thermomix TM5 may not be cooked with a Thermomix TM31 for safety reasons without adjusting the quantities. Risk of scalding by spraying of hot liquids: Do not exceed the maximum filling quantity and observe the filling level markings of the mixing bowl!

Recipe's preparation

  1. Preheat oven to 175°C. Spray bottom and sides of a loaf tin with oil and set aside.
  2. Add Apple to bowl and chop 3 Sec Speed 4, then set aside.
  3. Add Walnuts to bolw and chop 2 Sec Speed 5, set aside with apples.
  4. Add Eggs and Vegetable oil to bowl and mix 5 Sec Speed 2.
  5. Add the Cinnamon, white and brown sugar, and vanilla extract and mix 20 Sec
    Speed 3.
  6. Add the flour, salt, baking soda, and baking powder, and mix 40 Sec Speed 3.
  7. Add back in chopped apples and walnuts mix 20 Sec Speed 2 and pour batter into prepared tin.
  8. Bake 45mins or until skewer inserted comes out clean.
    Let Cool for 15 mins before slicing and serving.
  9. Enjoy!
