  • These were good but my dates

    Submitted by PeppaPig on 10. June 2015 - 14:31.

These were good but my dates got chopped too small.  Maybe you could fix your steps - step 2 says to add all remaining ingredients (which I did, including the dates) and mix, but after that is says to add dates?

  • Yum! I made a few

    Submitted by Jazwa on 13. May 2015 - 16:40.

Yum! I made a few adjustments: 180g dates and 50g naked ginger, turbo x3 @0.5 secs to chop, then just added the rest of the ingredients. And I didn't have enough cream, so I used 100ml cream and replaced the water with buttermilk. Will definitely be saving this and using again, thanks Michelle!

Really nice recipe - light and fluffy. Love it! (I did tweak it a bit, as I can't seem to stick to a recipe without doing so, but I reckon it was still quite close to the original).  tmrc_emoticons.)

  • Lovely and moist,  but 200

Submitted by van der Ploeg on 18. August 2014 - 14:45.

Lovely and moist,  but 200 was way too hot for my oven too. The outside browned quickly and the mixture was still raw inside. Will have to experiment with oven temps.  tmrc_emoticons.;) will make again, did you use fan force on your oven?
