EGG TART 蛋挞

TART PASTRY

  • 150g unsalted butter, Cold
  • 220g plain flour
  • 55g icing sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1tbsp milk powder
  • 1/2tsp vanilla essence
  • pinch salt

  • 80g evaporated milk
  • 70g sugar

      Please note that the TM5 mixing bowl has a larger capacity than the TM31 (capacity of 2.2 liters instead of 2.0 liters for TM 31). Recipes for the Thermomix TM5 may not be cooked with a Thermomix TM31 for safety reasons without adjusting the quantities. Risk of scalding by spraying of hot liquids: Do not exceed the maximum filling quantity and observe the filling level markings of the mixing bowl!

Recipe's preparation

    Method 做法
  1. 1. Preheated oven 180c
    2. Place TART PASTRY's ingredients in the bowl, 15sec, speed 5.
    3. Remove pastry from bowl, make dough into balls and press into tart shells.
    4. EGG CUSTARD: Add sugar and water into the bowl, 3mins, 37c at speed 1.
    5. Add in evaporated milk, eggs, vanilla essence , 30sec, speed 3.
    6. Pour the egg custard through a sieve into the tart shells.
    7. Bake in preheated oven until custard set. 30mins 180c.
    8. Rest in the tart shells for 5mins and transfer to cooling rack. Remove tarts when it's completely cool.
