Elle's Weetbix Slice

  • 150 grams Butter
  • 4 Weetbix
  • 70 grams sugar
  • 125 grams flour
  • 1 tbsp cocoa
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1 dash vanilla

  • 200 grams sugar
  • 50 grams Milk
  • 80 grams Butter
  • 1 bottle vanilla

      For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.

Recipe's preparation

    Base
  1. Pre-heat oven to 180°C and line your prepared tray
  2. Place butter in bowl
  3. Closed lid
    2/65/4
  4. Add Weetbix
  5. Add 70g Sugar
  6. Add 125g Flour
  7. Add 1 TBS Cocoa
  8. Add 1 tsp Baking Powder
  9. Add a dash of Vanilla
  10. Closed lid
    With aid of spatula combine all ingredients

  11. Bake in prepared oven for 10 minutes
  12. Icing
  13. Add 200g Sugar
  14. Closed lid

  15. Add 30g Milk
  16. Add 80g Butter
  17. Add dash of Vanilla
  18. Add 1.5TBS Cocoa

  20. Place prepared icing onto baked base, leave to cool before placing into the fridge
  21. Once firm in he fridge, remove from tin and slice
