- 180 g Soft Butter
- 180 g Raw Sugar
- 1 Egg
- 300 g Plain Flour
- 1 level tsp Baking Powder
- 1 level tsp Vanilla Essence

Line a Baking tray with Baking Paper.
Set Oven to 180C
Mill Raw sugar to Caster Sugar, if you havnt got any - Speed 7, 5 secs.
Add in Butter, Sugar, & Vanilla until light and fluffy - Speed 3, 1 min
Add in Egg - Speed 3, 30 sec
Stir through Flour. Make sure that you have your thermomix on Speed 1 while you remove the MC. As you add in Flour, turn the Speed slowly to 3. This should take 30-40secs (don't forget to hit your scales to measure in your flour)
Stir through Baking powder speed 3 20 secs
Once the mixture has come together, roll two teaspoons of mixture into balls and flatten in a bowl of 100’s and 1000’s.
Put on baking tray and bake for 10-12 minutes
Instead of using 100's and 1000's, you can make an indent into the cooking dough and put a dolop of jam to create jam drops.
