      If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
      For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.

Recipe's preparation

  1. Line loaf tin with baking paper.  Set oven at 180 C.

    Place bananas and apple cut in quarters into mixing bowl and mash 5 sec/speed 6.

    Add softened unsalted butter and brown sugar and mix 20 sec/speed 4.

    Add eggs and mix 10 sec/speed 4.

    Add plain flour, baking powder, salt, bicarb soda, milk and vanilla extract, almond meal and combine 20 sec/spped 4.  

    Pour into prepared loaf tin and bake 50-60 mins (180C) or until a skewer inserted into the centre of the cake comes out clean.

Mill 60g almonds first to make almond meal.
