If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.

Recipe's preparation
Mill brown sugar at sp 9 for 10 sec
Add 125 grams salted butter ( cubed at 3cm )
Cream at speed 5 for 4 mins. Do extra time if needed until it is a smooth thick creamy mix.
Mixing at speed two without measuring cup gradually add the egg. Once egg is in, put on measuring cup and mix a further two mins at sp 5 for 2 mins.
Add Self Raising Flour and mix for 40 seconds or until combined to light dough consistency.
Using a teaspoon roll into balls and place at least 5 cm apart ( these suckers GROW!! )
Using a finger make a well in the middle and place desired jam into well.
Place into 180 degree oven ( 160 fan forced ) for 10 minutes or until a light golden brown colour.

Tip
For a more store bought taste swap out the Brown sugar for 100g caster sugar and add the optional teaspoon of vanilla essence.
