      If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
      For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.

Recipe's preparation

    Grandma's Shortbread
  1. Put oven on to 150 degrees fan forced.
    Seive the flour 3 times, or put butterfly in bowl, add flour and mix 15 sec speed 3. Remove butterfly.
    Add all ingredients into bowlClosed lid and mix 30sec speed 6.
    When ingredients all stick together, tip out onto Thermomat and roll out with rolling pin to 1cm thickness. Cut into rounds and put on greased oven tray or oven mat, and cook 35 minutes. Allow to cool on a wire rack.
