If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.

Recipe's preparation

    Preparation
  1. Place 150gr of sugar in the thermomix bowl and mix with turbo for 2 seconds. Add all the remaining ingredients remembering the 50 gr of remaining sugar. Mix for 30 seconds/ Speed 4.

The mixure will need to be soft but not too sticky. Depending on the humidity, if the mixture is still a bit sticky add some flour.

Let the mixture rest for 10 minutes in the thermomix bowl. Start preparing the biscuits by rolling a little bit of mixture and put one end on top of the other as if to form a ring.

Roll one side of the mixture onto some sugar and place on a tray with baking paper. Leave a distance between the biscuits in order for them to grow.

Cook in the oven for 15 minutes or until golden brown at 180 degrees.

    Have fun and enjoy!!!

Tip

Dry White Wine gives a better taste to the biscuits. Moscato is a good one as it is sweet. If you like anise you can add a handful of anise seeds in the mixture
