For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.

Recipe's preparation

    Jaffa Bliss Balls
  1. Using a vegetable peeler, peel half the orange, making sure to stay shallow so you avoid the white pith & get only the zest. Pat the zest dry on paper towel before adding zest to TM bowl along with the almonds.

    Chop 10sec / speed 8.

    Scrape down repeat 10sec / speed 9.

    Add dates & process 5 sec / speed 7.

Add remaining ingredients & process speed 5 until the mixture holds together (stop & test by rolling a small amount into a ball. Add more orange juice or coconut as required).

Roll into balls the size of a walnut and roll in coconut. (Tip. use a child's plastic spoon so you don't scratch your TM bowl!).

Chill then try & stop at just one!

Very delicious. Made these for a Norwex party and everyone loved them, even the children.

Really easy, really delicious and a great idea for any occasion. The best yummiest (but you can't eat too many) chokky balls ever. Absolutely awesome.

love this bliss ball recipe.  I added some juice from the 1/2 orange as well and next time I make it I will add a little bit more, just to make it a little more oranger!
