Lemon Yogurt Cake

  • 180 grams Flour, Plain
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1/2 level tsp salt
  • 120 grams PlainYogurt
  • 200 gram sugar
  • 3 --- eggs
  • 1 level tbsp lemon zest 1 Medium Lemon
  • 120 gram oil

      For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.

Recipe's preparation

  1. Preheat oven 180°C
    Grease Round pan with oil and sprinkle with flour
    Coat all sides and tap off excess
    put Flour Baking Powder and Salt in a bowl mix set aside
    Mix yogurt sugar oil lemon zest in a bowl mix
    Add in Flour - fold in gently don't over mix
    Bake 30-40 min
    Cool in tin for 10 min
    Ease sides and invert
    Make icing by mixing pour over warm cake
