Munchie Muesli Bars

  • 70 g oats, quick
  • 35 g flour
  • 1 level teaspoons baking powder
  • 60 g Coconut thread
  • 5 Weetbix biscuits
  • 114 g Dried Fruit, (i.e. diced apricot)
  • 125 g Butter
  • 175 g raw sugar
  • 50 g golden syrup
  • 1 egg

      For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.

Recipe's preparation

  1. Preheat oven to 180°C
  2. Grease & line a rectangular slice tin with baking paper.
  3. 70 g Oats 35 g Flour 1 tsp Baking Powder 60 g Coconut Thread 5 Weetbix 5 sec/speed 6
  4. 144 g Dried Fruit 10 sec/Counter-clockwise operation/speed 2
  5. Transfer into a bowl and set aside.
  6. 125 g Butter 175 g Raw Sugar 50 g Golden Syrup 3 min/100°C/speed 2 Extend time if not yet melted.
  7. Add Muesli mix 1 egg 1 min/Counter-clockwise operation/speed 2
  8. Spread Mixture out evenly and press down lightly.
  9. Bake for 20 minutes.
  10. Leave to cool in tin then put in fridge. Cut into bars once cold.
