      For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.

      If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:

Recipe's preparation

  1. Preheat oven to 180°C. Line 2 baking trays with baking paper.
  2. Add butter and sugar to mixing bowl. Mix 1 min 30 sec on speed 3.5, MC on.
  3. Add condensed milk and flour. Mix 20 seconds speed 3.5, MC on. Scrape down sides.
  4. Add choc chips. Mix 30 seconds, reverse, speed 1.
  5. Roll into balls (approx 2 teaspoons of mix per ball) and place onto prepared baking trays. Lightly press down with a fork.
  6. Bake 15-20 mins until lightly golden. Remove from oven and allow to cool.

Tip

This recipe was passed down from my Nan (who we call Nano). As children we would always eat more of the mixture than what made it into biscuits. The best choc chip biscuits ever.
