      For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.

      If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:

Recipe's preparation

  1. Place 80g Coconut oil & 140g honey in TM bowl. Melt 1min/50deg/speed 3. MC on
  2. Add Nutrigrain cereal into bowl with oil & honey. Mix 30sec/speed 2/rev. Prolong time if needed until all combined.
  3. Add mixture into silicone mini loaf pan. Press mixture down with metal spoon. Mixture should make 12 portions.
  4. Clean & dry Thermomix bowl
  5. Add 150g chocolate melts. Grate 10sec/speed 8. scrape down sides
  6. Scape down sides. Melt chocolate 2 minutes/50deg/spd 3. drizzle chocolate over Nutrigrain bars.
  7. Put Nutrigrain bars into the fridge for 2-4hrs to set. Can be kept in a airtight container for 1-2 weeks. These freeze weel. Defrost on cooling rack before wrapping or putting in lunch box

Tip

Can be made in a 28cm x 18cm tin & cut to preferred size. To make vegan sub honey for agave nectar & chocolate for vegan chocolate.
