Oats, sultanas and golden syrup slice

Ingredients

15 slice(s)

Wet ingredients

  • 120 g Butter
  • 80 g golden syrup

Dry ingredients

  • 75 g rolled oats
  • 75 g plain flour
  • 90 g Saltanas
  • 90 g brown sugar
  • 30 g desicated coconut

Recipe's preparation

  1. Preheat oven to 180 degrees.

    Place butter in TM bowl. If necessary, soften for 40 seconds, 50 degrees speed 4. Add golden syrup and melt for 2 min 70 degrees speed 2.

  2. Add all dry ingredients to bowl. Scrape down sides then mix for 10 seconds Counter-clockwise operation speed 4-5, or until combined.

  3. Press mixure into a small baking tray lined with baking paper and bake for 15 minutes.

    Leave to cool before cutting into squares to serve.

    This slice was really easy to whip up and tastes delicious. Master 2 and 6 loved it. I would double the mixture next time to fill a slice tin.
