      TM 5
If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.

The texture is lovely, it just doesn't have much orange flavour... I cut the milk back to 100g and added the juice of the orange too

  • I missed the step that says

    Submitted by Kgunn on 27. January 2016 - 21:31.

I missed the step that says "insert the butterfly" and it turned out fine.  The frosting lacked flavour, so next time I will add orange zest to it as well as the juice.  I also peeled an orange with a vegetable peeler and added the rind to the bowl after grinding the sugar.  This saves dirtying a grater.  I will make this again for sure  tmrc_emoticons.)

  • This was so easy and yummy -

This was so easy and yummy - quite a number of guests had seconds! I used some lemon juice instead of orange juice for the icing (ran out as I forgot to leave some to make the icing!) and the combination was really citrusy and delicious. Thanks for sharing your recipe!
