  • 5 star taste, can't believe this has chickpeas!...

    Submitted by kkap on 27. March 2020 - 16:54.

5 star taste, can't believe this has chickpeas!
After tasting (and loving them), I strategically called them Peanut Fudge Cookies, as they're quite doughy.
All 3 kids gobbled them up and asked for more [evil laugh]!
Definitely need to keep hands wet when rolling, otherwise it will all be very messy!

Thanks for sharing such an easy, healthier, delicious recipe.

  • Really pleased with these! I

Submitted by Very lots of busy on 20. October 2015 - 11:32.

Really pleased with these! I was pretty unsure of using a tin of chickpeas to make sweets with- but they're delicious!

I used a friand tin to bake in & extended the time in the oven a bit.

Thank you for a recipe I'm happy to make for my toddler!

  • These are fantastic! I can't

    Submitted by Jackieattard on 1. March 2015 - 19:56.

These are fantastic! I can't believe it uses chick peas - what a great substitute. I'm going to try it without the choc chips next time to see if a peanut butter cookie would be just as good.  I made 18 and have eaten nearly half!!!

  • Yummy. Recipe wording could

Submitted by Tara Boffey on 19. July 2014 - 22:39.

Yummy. Recipe wording could be adjusted as first step you don't add all ingredients as the choc chips are added later. I made the mistake of adding all at the beginning. It pays to read the method in advance. Silly me!

These were so easy and yummy!! Kids had no idea there were chickpeas in them. Quite fudgy as opposed to biscuit like.

  • You can also use Tahini in

    Submitted by nkingston on 17. November 2013 - 19:38.

You can also use Tahini in place of peanut butter so they are lunch box friendly. Just as good.

  • I got asked to make these

    Submitted by Pontifek on 9. July 2013 - 19:32.

I got asked to make these when a friend saw the post on Facebook. Holy smokes! They are unbelievable! So yummy straight out of the oven! I used store bought PB since I didn't have the ingredients to make my own and I substituted half the honey for golden syrup since I didn't have enough honey. Turned out fine.
