      If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
      For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.

Recipe's preparation

    Pistachio shortbread
  1. Grind nuts speed 5 for 3 seconds, remove from bowl and set aside

    Put lemon rind in bowl, speed 10 for 6 seconds.

    Add all other ingredients to bowl, including ground pistachio nuts (you can decide on the fineness of the nuts).

    Mix speed 6 / 10 seconds, then knead 20 seconds.

    Transfer to a bowl or board and cut or shape as desired.

    Bake 160 for approximately 30 minutes, less if using a fan forced oven.

    When cool, dust with icing sugar.
