  • 3/4 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp ground cloves
  • 1/4 tsp Nutmeg

      Please note that the TM5 mixing bowl has a larger capacity than the TM31 (capacity of 2.2 liters instead of 2.0 liters for TM 31). Recipes for the Thermomix TM5 may not be cooked with a Thermomix TM31 for safety reasons without adjusting the quantities. Risk of scalding by spraying of hot liquids: Do not exceed the maximum filling quantity and observe the filling level markings of the mixing bowl!

Recipe's preparation

  1. Preheat oven to 160C fan bake.  Grease a 23 x 13cm loaf pan

    Put a large bowl on top of lid & measure in flour, baking soda, salt, cinnamon, cloves, nutmeg & ginger.  Stir to combine & set aside.

    Put all other ingredients into the bowl & mix speed 4 for 1 min or until combined

    With the blades spinning Sp 1 or 2, gradually add the flour mixture through the hole in the lid.

    Pour into prepared pan & bake for 45-50 minutes

    Leave to cool in tin for 10 minutes then transfer onto wire rack to cool completely.

     

    This freezes well - great to slice up for lunchboxes.
