Raspberry-spiked Chocolate Brownies

  • 200 g dark chocolate, chopped
  • 250 g Butter
  • 200 g brown sugar
  • 4 eggs
  • 200 g plain flour
  • 1/4 teaspoon baking powder
  • 40 g cocoa
  • 300-500 g raspberries, fresh or frozen

Recipe's preparation

  1. Pre-heat the oven to 180*C. Grease and line a 23cm square cake tin with baking paper.

    Place the chocolate in pieces in the TM bowl. Grate for 10 seconds on speed 9. Scrape down.

    Add butter and chop for 5 seconds on speed 5. Melt for 2 minutes on 50*C on speed 2.

    Add sugar and eggs. Mix for 15 seconds on speed 6.

    Add flour, baking powder and cocoa and mix for 10 seconds on speed 5.

    Pour into prepared tin. Top with raspberries and bake for 45-60 minutes or until set.

    Made these today. YUM! I needed to cook for whole 60mins. Next time will try to layer raspberries in so they cut thru richness of the brownie tmrc_emoticons.) Thanks for sharing!
