      If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
      For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.

Recipe's preparation

  1. Place butter in the mixing bowl. Add the lid and MC and mix on Speed 4.5 / 3mins
  2. Scrape down sides. Add butterfly whisk and mix Speed 4 / 1.5mins.
  3. Add the condensed milk and vanilla and mix on speed 3 for about 1 minute until mixed through.
  4. Icing is now ready to be used. Perfect for piping or spreading.

Tip

This icing is always smooth and is perfect for piping and can easily have colouring added.
