Strawberry and Pistachio Slice

  • 300 grams raw almonds
  • 150 grams Desiccated Coconut
  • 70 grams pistachio nuts
  • 50 grams clear fibre syrup
  • 70 grams coconut oil
  • 4 grams freeze -dried strawberry pieces
  • 100 grams sugar-free white chocolate

      For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.

      If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:

Recipe's preparation

  1. Line a square baking tin (20 cm) with baking paper and set aside.

  2. Place almonds, coconut, coconut oil, syrup, pistachios and strawberries into mixing bowl and chop 15 sec/speed 8
  3. Scrape down sides of mixing bowl with spatula and blend
    15sec/speed 8
  4. Transfer into prepared baking tin. Using damp hands, press mixture evenly into base of tin. place into freezer for approx 20 mins to firm.
  5. Place chocolate into mixing bowl and grate 10 sec/speed 9
  6. Scrape down sides of mixing bowl with spatula and melt
    3 mins/50°C/speed 2
  7. Pour chocolate over set base and spread out quickly and evenly. sprinkle with extra pistachio and strawberry, then place into refrigerator for approx 30mins, until firm. Cut into squares and serve. Store in refrigerator.
