Cookie

  • 370 g plain flour
  • 85 g Plain Malted Milk powder
  • 1 level teaspoon baking powder
  • 3/4 level teaspoon salt
  • 250 g unsalted butter, room temperature
  • 85 g cream cheese, room temperature
  • 120 g raw sugar, premilled
  • 1 level teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 egg, large

Recipe's preparation

  1. 1.  Mix the Flour, Malted milk powder, baking powder and salt in a large bowl thoroughly.

     

    2. Add butter and cream cheese into Closed lid and mix Sp3/1 min.  Scrape sides down and mix Sp3/1 min.

     

    3. Add Sugar into Closed lid and mix Sp3/20 sec.  Scrape sides down and mix Sp3/10sec.

     

    4. Add Egg and Vanilla extract into Closed lid and mix Sp3/10 sec.  Scrape sides down and mix Sp3/10sec.

     

    5. Add the mixed dry ingredients in sep 1 into Closed lid.  Lock bowl, mix Dough mode/50 sec or until mixed through.  Use spatula to assist in mixing.

     

    6. Preheat oven to 170C.

     

    7. I use small cookie scoop to form balls on baking tray.  Leave 1 inch for spreading.

     

    8. Bake for 11 to 15 minutes till bottom is golden brown.

Tip

I have reduced the sugar in this from the original recipe "Martha Stewart's Cookies"

My cookies were not very crunchy.  Leave them in the oven for a bit longer if you want them crunchier.
