- 180 grams raw sugar
- 130 grams Butter
- 1 whole orange, cut into 1/4s
- 1 piece Raw Ginger peeled
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 2 eggs
- 125 grams Boiling water
- 35 grams natural yoghurt
- 300 grams plain flour
- 1 teaspoon ground ginger
- 1 teaspoon Ground Cardamon powder

mill sugar 7 seconds speed 8, scrape down
add raw ginger and orange quarters, blend 5 seconds speed 8, scrape down
add softened butter and eggs, blend 10 seconds speed 8 scrape down repeat if necessary
add flour, ginger and cardamon powder 3 seconds speed 6
dissolve baking soda in a measuring jug in boiling water, then add yoghurt, add to TM bowl, mix 5 seconds, speed 7. Dont over mix and if necessary use sspatula to combine
pour into a lined 20 cm spring tin
Bake 160 degrees for 40-50 mins. test with skewer
dont over cook. leave in tin and cover with clean teatowel for 1 hour. remove from tin ready to serve with extra yoghurt
optional to add 1/2 cup chopped walnuts or dates
