For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.

Tip

This is a thick batter. It requires to be cooked on a low to medium heat otherwise it will burn the pancake before cooking on the inside, as it is a very fluffy pancake.
You can use the same batter for waffles. Cook in a waffle maker.
I like to freeze the waffles once cooked and then reheat/ crisp up in the toaster in the morning.
