  • 3 --- cups Rolled Oats
  • 2 cups All Bran
  • 1 cup Shredded Coconut
  • 1 cup Raw Almonds
  • 2 ripe bananas
  • 200 g pitted dates
  • 120 g Boiling water
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla
  • 2 cups Fruit, Nut and Seed mix

Recipe's preparation

  1. Place almonds in Tm bowl and chop roughly to smaller piesces.


    Place oats, bran, coconut and the almonds in a large mixing bowl.


    Put dates, water, vanilla and bananas in TM bowl and blend until a smooth paste.


    pour date mixture in with other dry ingredients and stir together thoroughly.


    Spread mixture evenly onto several greased oven trays.


    Bake in a very slow oven 120C for 1 1/2 hours, turning cereal over occasionally.


    Let cool.


    Add fruit and nut mixture and toss through.


    Store in an airtight cereal container.


    Add milk when ready to eat and enjoy!
