      If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
      For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.

Recipe's preparation

  1. Add 2 ltr of unhomogenised milt to bowl.  15 min\95 deg\sp 3

     

    When the milk has reached temperature add the vinegar (half MC full) and immediately turn off TM.

     

    Allow to sit for a few minutes then with slotted spoon scoop the curds into steaming basket lined with nut milk bag or cheese cloth.

     

    Strain all the whey into basket to catch the remaining ricotta.

    Hi, just wondering if you can make this with normal homogenised milk? and also approximately how much ricotta will it make?
