      For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.

Recipe's preparation

    Cob Loaf
  1. Add water, yeast and sugar to the TM bowl . Warm Up45 degreeGentle stir setting5mins

    Add the flour, salt, oil to the TM bowl Dough mode for 3minutes
    Leave in the TM bowl to rise for about an hour or until doubled in size
    Grease a 20cm (8 inch) round cake tin with cooking spray
    Once risen gently punch the dough downCounter-clockwise operation 1min
    Shape into a round loaf approximately 15cm in diameter.
    Place in the cake tin using a sharp knife, make a criss cross pattern on top of the loaf.
    Cover with lightly greased glad wrap or silicone bread mat and put in a warm place to rise until doubled in size (about 40 minutes)
    Heat oven to 200°C. Once the bread has risen, remove the gladwrap, sprinkle the top with flour and bake for 30-35 minutes until the loaf is golden brown and sounds hollow when you tap the bottom of the loaf.
    Turn the loaf out onto a cooling rack and allow to cool before slicing.
