For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl. -

If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:

Recipe's preparation
- Mix tapioca, flour, baking powder and sugar "Closed lid" "Blend" 20 seconds/speed 5
Trasfer to a bowl and set aside - Chop Cheese "Closed lid" "Blend" 7 seconds/speed 6
Transfer to a bowl and set aside - Place the egg and butter or ghee into the bowl "Closed lid" mix"Blend" 40 sec /"Warm Up" 100°F/speed 5
- Add the milk "Closed lid" 10 sec/ speed 3
- Incorporate the dry ingredients (flour and cheese) "Closed lid" and mix 1min/speed4
With the aid of the spatula, scrape down the food on the sides of the bowl "Closed lid" and program 3 min/"Dough mode" dough mode - Place a doughmat on a flat surface and transfer the dough from the bowl. Shape it as a log. Cut in equal pieces and bake either in a waffle maker or shape into elongated pieces and bake in the oven at 390°F for 20 minutes
