      TM 5
If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.

Recipe's preparation

  1. Preheat oven to 175 degrees C.  Line a baking tray with some baking paper.

  2. Place almonds, oats and psyllium husks in TM bowl and grind for 10 seconds at speed 9.  Add baking powder and salt and turbo 3 or 4 times to combine.

  3. Add egg whites and vinegar, and knead for 20 seconds.

  4. Weigh in the boiling water (MUST be boiling) and knead immediately for 1 minute.

  5. Dough will be very sticky but workable with a spatula.  Form into 5-6 medium ovals and place on baking tray.  Bake for 50-55 minutes until risen and browned and cooked through.  Remove from oven and cool on wire rack completely before slicing.
