Recipe's preparation

  1. Place butter milk into Closed lid  3 mins  60 degrees sp3,

    Buttermilk should be lukewarm.

Add Yeast , butter, egg,  300g of bakers flour & salt. 5 secs speed 6, then 2mins Closed lidDough mode.

Add 300g bakers flour & bread improver, 5 secs speed 6. 2 mins Closed lidDough mode

Add remaing 150g bakers flour, 5 secs speed 6, then 2mins Closed lidGentle stir setting.

The dough maybe a little sticky, so lightly spray  a large bowl with oil & also the top of the dough, then cover with glad wrap, leaving space for the expanding dough. Place bowl in a warm spot. (Mine goes in the car), until it doubles in size  (30 - 45 minutes)

Once the dough has proved, tip onto a floured surface & make  into what ever shape rolls you like.  Place onto baking trays lined with baking paper & leave to double in size. Approx 1 - 1 1/2 hrs. (They are worth the wait!)

    Bake for 15 - 20 mins at 180C

Once cooked brush with melted butter.

    Perfect for Steak burgers!

Great way to use up the buttermilk, if you've made a heap of butter.
