Recipe is created for
TM 5
If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.

Delicious....next time I'll peel the pears, and reduce the sugar....my Caramel was more a syrup (not sure if it was meant to be thicker)... Had it with cream and kids loved it

Yum, Yum, Yum! I served mine with some TMX warm custard and a drizzle of the sauce over the top and it is sooooo yummy and indulgent! I peeled my pears (3) and cooked them in the steamer basket instead of varoma with all of your settings and it turned out fab (even though my pears were on the softer side to start with). Def going on my favourites list!

Quick, easy and tasty recipe.
Quick, easy and tasty recipe. Sauce is more like a syrup, you could easily use less sugar and still be yummy. I didn't have any yogurt so I used ice cream. I'm saving this recipe for my mother in law who will love this.
Hi Wendy, what a great recipe
Hi Wendy, what a great recipe and how good is the varoma to cook fruit! I did wonder at not much liquid to create enough steam but it all worked so well. I did reduce the sugar by half and it was still sweet enough.
