      TM 5
If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.

This is a favourite in my house. I use castor sugar, and cook it for 5 minutes longer.

Does this need to be eaten straight away or can it be made for later? I was thinking of making it for my sons birthday party.

  • I will try to cook for longer

    Submitted by garthandrea on 13. November 2016 - 12:23.

I will try to cook for longer as the sugar did not disolve, so was quite grainy.

  • This is the first thing I

    Submitted by JudeG on 7. December 2015 - 22:53.

This is the first thing I cooked in my thermomix and a much loved favorite, very quick and easy to whip up when you have guests over and usually have all the ingredients just sitting in the fridge and pantry. Great snack saver when u want to be hospitable. Just one problem, you wont want to share...
