  • 250g sweet biscuits (eg Nice)
  • 60g walnuts
  • 75g Desiccated Coconut
  • 155g Caramilk chocolate (one block, less one row)
  • 100g Butter
  • 395g Tin condensed Milk

      For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid.       If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:

Recipe's preparation

    Slice
  1. Break biscuits in half and blitz 5 seconds, speed 7. Transfer to a separate bowl.
  2. Add walnuts to bowl and Turbo once or twice until you have small pieces.
  3. Add biscuits back to bowl together with coconut and combine on Counter-clockwise operation for 15 seconds, speed 3. Transfer to a separate bowl.
  4. Add Caramilk chocolate, butter and condensed milk to bowl and heat at 50 degrees for 5 minutes on speed 2.
  5. Add dry ingredients back to chocolate mix and combine at speed 3, Counter-clockwise operation, for 30 seconds.
  6. Line a lamington tin with greaseproof paper and using wet hands press mix into tin and refrigerate for 30 mins.
  7. Topping
  8. Wash and dry bowl.
  9. Melt chocolate and oil at 50 degrees, speed 2 for about 5 minutes or until melted and combined.
  10. Pour over refrigerated slice and return to fridge to set.
  11. When chocolate is just set, score into slices with a sharp knife and then return to fridge to set completely.
  12. Cut into pieces and enjoy!
