      If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
      For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.

Recipe's preparation

  1. 1. Add Chocolate to bowl and mix 8 secs/speed 10

    2. Scrape down the sides of bowl then add Water, Cream and Sugar and heat for 15 mins/90 degrees/speed 3 with MC removed and simmering basket placed on lid

    3. Add Glucose Syrup and mix 10 secs/speed 4

    4. Add a pinch of Ground Chilli or to taste mix 3 secs/speed 3

    Note: the chilli flavour intensifies as the mixture cools down

    5. Allow mixture to cool to room temperature then pour into a shallow container and place in freezer over night.

    6. Cut frozen mixture into squares, place into mixing bowl and blend   1 min/speed 10. Serve.
