      Please note that the TM5 mixing bowl has a larger capacity than the TM31 (capacity of 2.2 liters instead of 2.0 liters for TM 31). Recipes for the Thermomix TM5 may not be cooked with a Thermomix TM31 for safety reasons without adjusting the quantities. Risk of scalding by spraying of hot liquids: Do not exceed the maximum filling quantity and observe the filling level markings of the mixing bowl!

Recipe's preparation

  1. 1. Line 18 x 18 tray with baking paper
    2. To the TM bowl add the sugar and mill for 10 seconds on speed 10
    3. Add Condensed milk, butter, peppermint essence and glucose syrup to the bowl and cook for 8 mins 100 degrees speed 3 (MC off)
    4. Scrap down sides of bowl and cook again 20 minutes Varoma speed 3 (MC off)
    5. Add chocolate to the mixture and combine 1 minute speed 3
    6. Quickly pour mixture into bowl and spread smooth
    7. Place into fridge to set

Tip

You can add a crushed mint chocolate to the top of mixture before placing in fridge (peppermint crisp, peppermint aero or crushed mint candy)
