  • I was introduced to these

I was introduced to these beauties last week at a demo I was conducting. They were and are AMAZING! I just had to have the recipe and I made my own batch of them for a bbq on Saturday. They were loved by everyone! They are super super easy to make and if they're kept in the freezer they are cold and chewy and just devine! I found that they were very sticky to roll into balls so make sure the mixture is really cool before rolling and rub a wee bit of coconut oil on your hands. It works perfectly. Lovely recipe, thank you!

  • Delicious! A friend made

Delicious! A friend made these by hand for a Brazilian themed dinner so I was ecstatic to find it in the Recipe Community which removed the need to stand at the stove stirring for ever!

I agree they are great with sprinkles (visually spectacular for kids). Will be trying the rice bubble variation...

  • I've made this twice now.

Submitted by needilup girl on 7. September 2014 - 17:43.

I've made this twice now.  First time I spooned teaspoonfuls into mini cupcake cups and sprinkled with hundreds and thousands - kids (and their friends) ate them all.  I was a bit worried it would be too rich.

Second time straight after finishing in the thermomix I poured it into a bowl with 2.5 - 3 cups of rice bubbles, mixed it up and then spooned it into the mini cupcake cups - so they were almost like chocolate crackles.  I sprinkled those with dessicated coconut.  Again a big hit with the kids.  AND I licked the bowl each time.  Yummo and a great easy treat.
