Chocolate Chilli and Orange Fondue

Fondue

  • 230 grams bittersweet chocolate, in pieces, 60 or 70 percent coco butter
  • 2 level tablespoons Butter, Softened
  • 11/2 Cups cream, (whipping)
  • 2 level tablespoons orange juice, No pulp
  • 2 level tablespoons Cointreau or Grand Marnier
  • 1 level teaspoon Vanilla Essence/Extract
  • 1/2 level teaspoon ground chilli powder, Chipotle if available.

Recipe's preparation

    Fondue
  1. Heat cream in TM on slow speed1-2 to just reach boiling point 100 degrees, then switch off heat.Whilst stirring on low speed add chocolate pieces and cubed butter thru  MC hole. Add all the other ingredients and stir until chocolate has melted and combined smoothly. Serve immediately in individual bowls or a fondue pot alongside an assortment of dippers that may include fruits such as strawberries ,orange segments apple pear or pineapple , or marshmallows,cake cubes pretzels etc.
