Please note that the TM5 mixing bowl has a larger capacity than the TM31 (capacity of 2.2 liters instead of 2.0 liters for TM 31). Recipes for the Thermomix TM5 may not be cooked with a Thermomix TM31 for safety reasons without adjusting the quantities. Risk of scalding by spraying of hot liquids: Do not exceed the maximum filling quantity and observe the filling level markings of the mixing bowl!

Recipe's preparation
- •Add all ingridents into your
"Closed lid" , mix for 6 min 80’ speed 4
•Chill in the fridge, keep it in the"Closed lid"
•Once it is cold, pop"Closed lid" back onto your Thermomix 20sec 0’ speed
"Gentle stir setting" , this will make your Custard super smooth.
- This is simple FAST and really YUM.
For a chocolate version use 25g of cocoa.
This Custard is Best served cold/chilled so make prior to needing.

Love this, thanks for sharing. I double the recipe, but I'm not a fan of cornflour, so I normally add 25g of custard powder and 10g of cornflour and it thickens enough for me, as it cools (if it isn't already eaten whilst hot
). I also reduce the sugar to 60 (when doubled) and just hit "Thicken" on the TM6.

I didn't have cream in the fridge, so substituted with extra milk (lite) to 500g total in Milk.
Turned out just as nice accompanying home made Apple Pie.
