Dairy Free Vanilla, Banana & Coconut Ice Cream

  • 500 g Oat Milk, or other dairy free milk
  • 200 g coconut cream
  • 100 g sugar, or swap for agave or similar syrup
  • 2 eggs
  • 1-2 banana's
  • 1 pinch Vanilla Exract
  • 1 pinch salt

      Please note that the TM5 mixing bowl has a larger capacity than the TM31 (capacity of 2.2 liters instead of 2.0 liters for TM 31). Recipes for the Thermomix TM5 may not be cooked with a Thermomix TM31 for safety reasons without adjusting the quantities. Risk of scalding by spraying of hot liquids: Do not exceed the maximum filling quantity and observe the filling level markings of the mixing bowl!

Recipe's preparation

  1. Add all of the ingredients into the bowl of the Thermomix. Cook for 7 mins / 80° / sp 4.

  2. Pour mixture into a large flat dish that will fit into the freezer.  Freeze for about 4 hours and then cut into cubes and return frozen cubes to the Thermomix bowl.

    Blitz for 20 secs / sp 9.  Scrape down sides of the bowl and then reblitz for another 20 secs / sp 9.

  3. Pour into a 1 litre container and freeze for another 4 hours or until firm.


Accessories you need



This does freeze quite solid but I find if I take it out of the freezer for at least 10 minutes prior to serving, I'm able to scoop the ice cream easily.
