  • 1 bottle thickened cream, (600ml)

      If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
      For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.

Recipe's preparation

    Steps
  1. 1. Add maltesers to bowl and blitz for 5 seconds on speed 7. Empty into a bowl and set aside.

    2. Without cleaning the bowl, insert butterfly into bowl. Add thickened cream, cocoa and sugar and tip crushed maltesers back on top.
    3. Whip for 10 seconds Speed 4 and check.
    4. If needed - whip a further 5 seconds and repeat until thick and whipped - be really careful not to over whip as mousse will seperate.
    5. Eat as is or chill for 30 mins ( the flavours do develop when chilled).
    6. Garnish with extra maltesers before serving tmrc_emoticons.)

Tip

You can substitute Dark Malteasers for milk Malteasers, Violet Crumble, Tim Tams or any crumbly type chocolate that you like!

This is a variation of an awesome recipe I found on the RC so full credit to the OP - I have just changed things a little as I found this timing and ingredients ratio worked better for me tmrc_emoticons.)

    Thanks so much for this recipe. My husband loves it and I was struggling to fight him off as I was transferring it over to a container. He was eating it straight from the thermomix bowl lol. My daughter loves it too! Will be making again!Smile
