  • 10 Wheatbix crushed
  • 100 grams pitted dates (dried)
  • 2 tablespoons coconut oil
  • 2 tablespoons Peanut Butter
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 40 grams desicated coconut
  • 40 grams Cacao / cocoa
  • shredded coconut - for sprinkling

      For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid.       If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:

Recipe's preparation

    Directions
  1. Put wheatbix into bowl MC on and blitz for 10 seconds speed 5
    set aside


    Place dates into bowl and blitz speed 5 for about 1-15 seconds-depending on how fine chopped you would like them.


    Add all the rest of the ingredients
    add coconut oil
    add wheatbix mix
    add honey
    add peanut butter
    add coconut
    add cacao
    add protein powder (optional)
    mix altogether until combined on speed 5 for about 15-20 seconds.

    Consistency should compact when pressed
    Place into tray and flatten.

    tip # place anothersheet of baking paper on top and run hands over to flatten.

    Sprinkle shredded coconut on top.

    Place into fridge/freezer to set minimum 1 hour.

    Cut and store in fridge for about 2 weeks.
