Feijoa Ginger & Yogurt Ice cream

Ingredients

5 portion(s)

500g scooped out Feijoa

  • 1 teaspoon fresh ginger
  • 50-100 grams Sugar ( if desired )
  • 200 grams Yogurt, natural or fruit
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 200 grams cream

Recipe's preparation

    Scoop out the feijoas and freeze the flesh overnight or for a min of 8 hours until solid
  1. Put sugar in the the TM Speed 10 for 25 seconds.


     

  2. Add the ginger and again speed 10 for 25 seconds.

  3. Add the remainder of the ingrediants, including the frozen feijoas : 1-2 min speed 1-10 increasing the speed at a gradual level. 


    Place in an ice cream container and freeze for a min of 30 min before serving. 


     


    Portion sizes depends on serving size, we would get 6 servings out of this, but others may have massive bowls and get 4 tmrc_emoticons.-)

Tip

If you like you can add frozen strawberries as well, or my kids like it as a milk shake with a little milk added. The sugar is only needed if you like it sweet, if you want a non sugar alternative you can add a banana.
