      Please note that the TM5 mixing bowl has a larger capacity than the TM31 (capacity of 2.2 liters instead of 2.0 liters for TM 31). Recipes for the Thermomix TM5 may not be cooked with a Thermomix TM31 for safety reasons without adjusting the quantities. Risk of scalding by spraying of hot liquids: Do not exceed the maximum filling quantity and observe the filling level markings of the mixing bowl!

Recipe's preparation

    Batter
  1. 1. Add butter and melt. 3min/60deg/Speed 1

    2. Add milk and eggs and mix. 5sec/Speed 5 

    3. Add flour, sugar, salt and baking powder. Mix 10sec/Speed 5.

    4. Scrape down sides and repeat.

    5. Follow the cooking directions on the waffle iron.

    6. Spread a tablespoon or so of mixture onto waffle iron and cook for approximately 3-4 minutes on highest heat setting. Remove cooked waffle when red light turns to green.

    7. Serve immediately with maple syrup.

Tip

Freeze leftovers in a plastic bag. Reheat in toaster.

    I used milk kefir instead of the milk, left out the sugar and substituted 50g of the flour for almond flour and the kids INHALED them tmrc_emoticons.) My new favourite brekkie recipe- thanks tmrc_emoticons.)
