Recipe's preparation

    Date balls
  1. 1.Place all ingredients into TM and blitz on speed 7-8 for around 2-3 mins.

2.You'll know when it's ready because the mixture will get quite hot and sticky.

3.Tip ingredients out onto a paper towel. Squish a little of the oil out, it helps to roll nicer smoother balls.

4.After you round them into shape, place into a bowl of dessicated coconut or cocoa to cover.

5.When you have finished rolling them out, place into fridge to set.

  2.

    TIPS

If you don't have toasted almonds, normal almonds will suffice, even peanut butter is a nice change.

If you have any YIAH products, play around with some of the chocolate powders...our all time favourite is the Choc raspberry. It tastes just like a cherry ripe! Truly satisfies any chocoholics cravings!

  • Of all the choc ball recipes on this site, these...

Of all the choc ball recipes on this site, these are my favourite! I double all the quantities to make a huge batch as my family inhales them. I also sometimes add a few drops of peppermint oil for something different. Every batch is always a success tmrc_emoticons.)

    Submitted by JodesM on 11. July 2016 - 15:55.

I can never make a single batch of these... My kids stand there eating the first batch as I roll them.  They can't get enough of them.

So easy to make. I ran out of coconut, so didn't roll them in anything, but they still taste great. Thanks!

  • Quick and easy to make. Used

Quick and easy to make. Used cashews as didn't have almonds and left them uncovered (ie. no cocoa or coconut)

  • YUM YUM YUM!! Used YIAH Choc

    Submitted by Haski15 on 7. November 2015 - 13:58.

YUM YUM YUM!! Used YIAH Choc orange and cashews as the nuts. They are to die for and taste just like Jaffas! Kids approve tmrc_emoticons.)

I also love how it makes a larger quantity than most recipes. This recipe made 34 teaspoon sized balls.

Will definitely make again! Thanks you!
