      For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.

      If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:

Recipe's preparation

    Method:
  1. Line the base and sides of a slice tin with baking paper - making sure you leave the paper hanging over the edges.



    Place the marshmallows and butter into the thermomix bowl MC on, and cook for 1 minute on 80 degrees, speed 1 or until melted and combined.



    (stopping at intervals to scrape down sides with spatula).



    Add the rice bubbles to the bowl and mix for 1 minute 20 seconds on speed 1 ReverseCounter-clockwise operation until mixture has combined.



    Pour the combined mixture into a slice tin and flatten with spoon to spread across the tin and push down.

    TIP: Handy tip is to use another sheet of baking paper across top and flatten out with hands!



    If decorating, sprinkle the 100s and 1000s (or sprinkles of your choice) over the top of the slice and place in the fridge for two hours or until set.



    Remove set slice from the fridge and cut into small squares.

    Store in air tight container for up to 2 weeks.
