      TM 5
If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.

Recipe's preparation

    Malteser Mousse
  1. 1. Add maltesers to bowl and turbo for 2 seconds (mixture should still be slightly chunky). Empty into a bowl and set aside.

    2. Without cleaning the bowl, insert butterfly into bowl. Add thickened cream, 1/2 malteser mix, cocoa and sugar. Beat for 20 seconds on speed 4.

  2. 3. Add remaining maltesers and beat for 10 seconds on speed 4. If mixture has not thickened, beat for another 5 seconds on speed 4 until it has, ensuring not to over beat.

    4. Refrigerate over night to set. Or eat straight away tmrc_emoticons.)

I really wanted to like this recipe but unfortunately was disappointed. I found it too sweet and heavy.

This was my first recipe I made when I got my TM6, it was delicious but found a bit too sweet. Made it for a second time with only 1tablespoon of sugar and 1tablespoon of cocoa and it was much better. Thank you tmrc_emoticons.)

After only whipping for 20 seconds, the mouse was perfect. Skepticaly, (I had never mad mousse before) following the recipe I added maltesers and went on speed 4 for another 10 seconds, turned into butter consistency. Had to throw out tmrc_emoticons.(

Delicious, instructions where clear and worked well. I was a little worried after the first 20 seconds and also putting the butterfly in on 4 (have heard you aren't meant to have over 3) as after the first 20 it wasn't entirely formed but after the second part where you add the rest of the maltesers and whip for another 10 seconds it formed fantastically. Definitely try this recipe!

This recipe turned out perfectly, my hubby's only complaint was that it needed more Maltesers
