Not sure whether I should have used pitted dates. One heluva noise, not realizing the pit was in the date. I am assuming the Pitt should have been removed? What did everybody else do?

These are seriously amazing, I halve the amount of cocoa and still great. I also tried milling the pumpkin seeds and sunflower seeds in replacement of almond to make nut free for kids school lunch boxes. Again another hit. Thank you for sharing.

Loved this recipe for the fact its not overly packed with dates like others I have tried. I added an extra spoon of protein powder for my needs. Very nice!

These are amazing! The best I've tried so far. I added a tbs of coconut oil instead and found they were not too dry at all. Thanks!

  • I love these balls rolled in

    Submitted by savlec on 20. December 2015 - 22:10.

I love these balls rolled in Chia seeds and I also add a teaspoon of chilli powder for some extra zing although I add chilli to most things.

I have made a naughty xmas version of these with 3/4 cup of sultanas which had been soaking in spiced rum for a week. Used half as many dates and replaced with half of the drained sultanas. After blending I put in the rest of the sultanas and mixed speed 1, reverse for 10 seconds. Balled them up and presto. I feel I could of mixed in a little of the drained rum as well but it disappeared before I finished tmrc_emoticons.)

Oh my! These are AMAZING! So easy to make. Low sugar, good fats & fibre. What more can you ask for? They feel like a naughty treat rather than a healthy snack. Defiantely going to be making these on the regular. I added 1 tablespoon of water to my mix.

DELISH!!  These were so good!  I modified a little bit by using 1/2 honey and 1/2 rice malt syrup.  I found them a bit dry so I just added 1/2 T of water.  Rolled some in coconut and chia seeds.  Will DEFINITELY be making these again!  Thanks! tmrc_emoticons.)
