Oh yum! I upped the whole recipe x 4 and placed in a large slice tin. Delicious! I used milk choc bits instead of dark choc as that’s all I had & instead of using microwave I cleaned & dried the thermie bowl really well & made topping in bowl. I chopped the milk choc bits in thermie for 30sec, scraped down bowl & chopped for another 20 sec. added coconut oil & melted for 2mins/50c/speed 2. Poured over the caramel. Super easy. Thanks so much for posting x

Great healthy snack when you need a sweet fix!
I made these in tiny little silicone pop out bottom ice cube trays, so they were quite fiddly to construct but the end result was well worth it.....lots of little pop out of the tray and into your mouth sweet treats - YUM!

These were so easy to make & taste amazing! I followed the recipe for the first two components but used coconut oil, cacao & maple syrup for the topping (melted & mixed in thermie) and they were delicious! I used silicon chocolate moulds to set them in & it made 24 easily.

These are delicious....and very dangerous! I doubled the recipe too and used silicone muffin trays but next time I might just do a slice as suggested....I may also drop the maple syrup given the dates sweeten it enough...

Have made these several times and have never had a fail! Have also used milk chocolate chips as I find the dark choc a little bitter (not a choc lover).

These were absolutely amazing. I followed advice to add one tbsp of honey to the base and it stuck perfectly-no crumbling. I now keep stack in freezer, everyone loves it, and it's the perfect small treat!

This is so good! Loved by everyone in my house. Used butter instead of coconut oil (as I was out of coconut oil) and it was so tasty. Also misread the steps for the base and chucked it all in together and did it as one step, still worked out fine. Thanks for an awesome recipe, will definitely be using this again.

Loved this recipe and would definitely recommend although I did chang it up a bit. I added a tsp of honey into the base to make it stick together better and it worked. I also added a small amount of salt into the centre layer to balance out the sweetness and add a bit of a salted caramel flavour. Definitely going to be a regular treat in my house!

Doubled the recipe as suggested. Subbed almond meal instead of oats. Used medjool dates as all I had but would make with normal dates next time. YUM! YUM! YUM! Need to make again and hide a secret stash in the freezer.

So yummy and easy to make! I did find however that the base was crumbly if only refrigerated so needed to keep in the freezer. Also the middle layer didn't blend to a smooth paste as I expected probably because the volume wasn't enough...didn't affect the taste though!
Incredibly easy and very delisiuous!

Great recipe. I have made it twice in a week now. Deceivingly sweet. I make mine into a slice. Thanks for the delicious recipe.

So YUM! My biggest problem is stopping at one. I made a double batch but should've made more. I struggled to blitz everything as it kept going to the sides, so I decided to use a lower speed and lead up to speed 6. I still had to stop and scrape down the sides a few times. Being the lazy person that I am, next time I might just make it as one big slice, rather than individual bites to save me time. I also think I might halve or even completely leave out the maple syrup as the medjool dates made it very sweet, although it might affect the yummy caramel flavour. Thanks for such a fabulous recipe!
Is it best to use medjool
Is it best to use medjool dates or are dried, pitted dates ok? Thanks
